While the objective is laudable, it is clear that policymakers are not yet fully convinced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-les-reactions-et-contre-propositions-face-au-flou-actuel\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Indeed\"><\/span>Indeed,<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the product shortages that occurred last year highlighted the lack of visibility and access to medical cannabis for many patients,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>as well as the urgent need for a suitable legal framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-legalisation-du-cannabis-en-france-a-la-croisee-des-chemins\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, some experts fear that a partial integration of medical cannabis into general law would not adequately meet the expectations of those concerned. <strong>Reactions and Counter-Proposals in the Face of Current Uncertainty<\/strong>Several prominent figures have expressed their disagreement with the exclusion of medical cannabis from the 2024 Social Security Financing Bill (PLFSS). Professor Nicolas Authier, for example, denounces the &#8220;irrational&#8221; arguments of the opponents and advocates for a rigorous approach based on the scientific and clinical findings of recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For his part, physician and patient Pascal Douek also regrets the way this matter is unfolding, especially since he is among those who have directly benefited from the ongoing trial since April 2021.<\/strong>However, there remains a glimmer of hope: the possibility of incorporating the legalization of medical cannabis through an amendment during the debates surrounding the PLFSS.
