Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 100g unsalted butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 eggs + 1 yolk for glazing
- 120g ground almonds
- 1 tablespoon rum (optional)
- 2 tablespoons pastry cream (optional)
- 1 tablespoon finely ground CBD flower
Preparation: Preparing the frangipane:
- Mix the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, then the ground almonds, rum, and pastry cream if desired. Gently fold in the ground CBD flower. Assembling the galette: Roll out one sheet of puff pastry onto a baking sheet, then spread the CBD frangipane, leaving a border around the edges. Place the fève (a small trinket traditionally hidden inside). Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry and seal the edges. Baking and Baking: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Brush the surface of the galette with the beaten egg yolk. Score the pastry with the tip of a knife, being careful not to pierce it. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
